William Steinberg began printmaking in architecture school under the instruction of his professor, Leslie Laskey, a student of Lazlo Moholy-Nagy of the Bauhaus. Since 1985, his prints have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are included in numerous private collections in North America, Europe, and Japan. He currently prints at the Open Studio in Toronto Ontario

In 2010 Mr. Steinberg began crafting sculptures of bronze, steel and concrete at a university studio complete with a foundry. An exhibition of his three dimensional series was mounted at the Capilano University Art Gallery.
